As a couple of sculptors having a good mastery of bronze, stone, wood, varnished terra-cotta and composite materials, we discovered glass making techniques through the commission of an exhibition in the Billettes Cloister (Paris) in 1999.
Conceived around the theme of the angel, it appeared that only glass could express the immaterial nature of angels.
Since then, while we went on working with traditional materials, we have also developed a whole creation involving glass, mostly towards Heritage Monuments, sacred art and liturgical arrangements.
Our works are regularly selected for Daum Art Collection.
Natacha MONDON is an award winner of the Foundation for Vocation Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet.
" As glass irradiate light from inside, the shape of a sculpture can be read not only by its outer volumes but also through the transparency of its thickness ".
